1.
Improved Decision Making
Most
CEOs wrestle with issues which cannot be discussed with staff,
friends or
other business peple. TEC provides a talented,
experienced and supportive peer
group where any and all issues can be discussed
in a totally confidential
environment. The group and the Chair act as
a sounding board that fosters
lateral thinking and extra input, so that the
best ideas can be honed and applied
by each member to their greatest business advantage.
2.
Increased Accountability: A Commitment to Action
As CEO, you ensure that those who work with you are held
accountable. But who
holds you accountable in a supportive and helpful
way? A TEC group and chair
maintain a strong follow-through and implementation
of actions committed to by
members, ensuring that they are achieved and
results are measured and assessed.
3.
Personal and Professional Growth
How many times have you thought that you should attend
a conference or
seminar, then found you could not get there
for any one of a thousand reasons?
TEC overcomes this by bringing the seminars
to the members. Each group works
through its own chosen program of topics.
The groups have workshops on major business topics, such
as strategic planning,
marketing, finance, the latest employment laws,
leadership and a wide range of
other people and relationship issues. Also
several times a year, member focus on
personal issues like stress management,
personal finance balancing their
business and personal lives.
4.
Overcoming Isolation
Many CEOs experience a sense of isolation that can limit
the rewards and
challenges of the position. It can be very
lonely at the top.
TEC provides a supportive peer group, where members can
"discuss the
undiscussable, helping reduce the stress associated
with this level of
responsibility.
5.
Charting an agenda for Change: Professional & Personal
CEOs
use the TEC process to design and execute their change agendas
for the business and
