Executive Coaching on Rise

"A big shift is under way to provide

coaching for executives, which was

until recently considered "nice to

have" but not essential, a study by

the Canadian Management Centre

and its international affiliates finds.

Fifty-two per cent (52%) of 1,030

executives surveyed worldwide,

including 330 in canada, receive

coaching for performance; 13%

were started in the past year; and

37% of organizations that don't

have programs plan to initiate

executive coaching in the next

year.

Among reasons for having

coaching: 79% said it was to

improve overall performance,

63% to groom for top

leadership, and 60% to upgrade

specific skills."

Executive Coaching: Work/Life Balance

The most elusive result executives seek. The lack of it, affects their business performance, which then feeds their dissatisfaction with their personal lives and so it goes into a vicious circle. An executive coach who is completely holistic about their philosophy of working with their client is key to deliver this most important type of business result to an executive.
